It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence Ann Hirkala of Weirton, West Virginia, born in Mingo Junction, Ohio, who passed away on December 20, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Grantonic and Anna Jakub Grantonic; her husband Joseph Hirkala; and her siblings, George F., Thomas Grantonic and Mary Agnes Matthews.
She is survived by: her brothers, John Grantonic of Youngstown, OH. and Edward Grantonic of Mingo Junction, OH.; her nephew Timothy J. Rowland; and her nieces, Cari Anne Nice and Patricia Hans. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
