It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Lee McCormick of Weirton, West Virginia, born in Michigan City, Indiana, who passed away on January 21, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Arthur McCormick and Mary Jane McCormick (Moffitt). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lousie McCormick (Dinch) of Weirton, WV; his children, Vincent Arthur McCormick (Sarah) of Michigan City, IN and Stacy Barnhart (Ronald) of Colliers, WV; his grandchildren, Ronald Barnhart Jr. (Robin), Jessica Lynn Barnhart, Abby and Sean McCormick; his great grandchildren, Ryan Barnhart, Nova Blevins Barnhart, Chevy Blevins and Cheyenne Truex; and his siblings, Gail Kolisa (Ronny), Mary Alice Bommer (John) and Doug McCormick (Brenda). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the James Funeral Home (1245 Main St, Follansbee, WV 26037). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies (1158 Morgan Rd, Bridgeville, PA 15017).
