With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Della Mae VanMeter of Weirton, West Virginia, born in New Martinsville, West Virginia, who passed away on July 18, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross Postlethwait and Evadna Pyles Postlethwait; her husband John T. "Pop" Van Meter; and her siblings, Maxine Poole, Lois Saffle, Shirley Greiner, Pauline Weipert, Paul Postlethwait, Sherrill Postlethwait and Sherwood R. Postlethwait.
She is survived by: her children, Meshelle VanMeter (Mike Palmeri), Michael Postlethwait (Natalie), Steve VanMeter (Ronda) and Rick VanMeter (Melissa); her grandchildren, Melissa, Tiffany, Marissa, Blaine, Kamden, Michael, Andrew, Thomas, Alexander, Kenneth, Bailee and Jaden; her sister Loretta Bradley; and her pet Miss Kitty. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
