It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine M. Deluca-Barker of Weirton, West Virginia, who passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Costantine Collo and Marie Boniti De Collo; her former husband Robert Deluca; her brother Robert Valenti; her nephews, Bobby Valenti and Daniel Fijewski; and her stepdaughter Susan Donahoe.
She is survived by: her husband Boyd Barker; her sister Judy Fijewski (Max); her sister-in-law Carol Valenti; her nieces, Debbie Garrison (Charlie) and Marcie Bostic (Bill); her nephew Brian Fijewski (Kristin); and her stepchildren, Boyd Barker (Gina) and Vicki Gallo (Jack). She is also survived by her family, friends.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church (229 California Ave, Weirton, WV 26062). Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home (3219 Main St, Weirton, WV 26062).
