He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Champ of New Cumberland, WV, Dorothea Long (Pat) of High Springs, FL and Gary Kirkbride (Shelba) of Chester, WV.; his wife Etta Belle Kirkbride (Saffel); his children, Calvin N. Kirkbride III (Diane Wells) of Weirton, WV, Zina Scott (Matt) of North Port, FL and Ursula Kirkbride of Weirton, WV; his grandchildren, Jennifer Scott (Dylan Payne) of Pittsburgh, PA, Samantha Yacoviello (Jonathan) of Weirton, WV, John Scott of North Port, FL, Amanda Kirkbride (Kate) of Weirton, WV, Tyler Kirkbride (Lindsey Greathouse) of Weirton, WV and Haley Gajewski (James) of Weirton, WV; and his great grandchildren, Liam, Grayson Gajewski, Ava, Emma, Lena Yacoviello, Owen, Cali, Demi Kirkbride and Scarlett Kirkbride.
