With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bartlett Jay Wharton Jr. of Weirton, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 3, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bartlett Jay Wharton, Sr. and Wilma Sams Wharton; and his sisters, Denise Decker and Linda Waide. He is survived by: his siblings, Rebecca Pope (Frank), Cathy Krnaich, Susan Ireland (Dennis), Karen Wersch and Robert Wharton (Michelle); his daughters, Dawn Marie Homan (Randal) and Cayla Wharton; his stepdaughter Heather Cooper; and his grandson Eli.
