He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore Pellegrino and Mary Pellegrino (Patti); and his sister Kathryn Pellegrino. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lee Pellegrino (Postlethwait); his children, Samuel Anthony "Chip" Pellegrino (Susan) of Follansbee, WV, Timothy Pellegrino (Sherry) of Pittsburgh, PA and Nicole "Nikki" Floyd (Michael Thomaselli) of Follansbee, WV; his sister Velma Pellegrino of Weirton, WV; his grandchildren, Jamie Pellegrino (Dean Coburn), Tony Pellegrino (Kearsten), Gabrielle Riggs (Justin), Katie Pellegrino, Jenna Floyd, Ashley Pellegrino and Sonya Arnette; and his great grandchildren, Stella, Daxton, Matthew, Julianna, Shiann and Kayla.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the WVU Children's Hospital for Childhood Cancer Research that can be mailed to Mullenbach Funeral Home 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV.
