He was predeceased by: his parents, Amerigo "Emery" Pate and Anna Barnabei Pate. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Kell Pate; his stepsons, Shawn and Scott (Jackie); his grandchildren, Cameron, Shannon and Harrison; his siblings, Sister Josephine Pate and John Pate; and his close friend Bogey.
