He was predeceased by: his parents, James Comuzie and Nora Evans Comuzie; and his stepmother Gracie Comuzie. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Gilchrist; his children, James Allen Comuzie (Kristina), James Edwards Comuzie (Tiffany) and Rebecca Lynn Comuzie (Daniel); his siblings, James Truman Mathes (Leslie), Donna Crites (Alvin), Peggy Brown (Richard) and Lorain Defelice; and his grandson Brentley Miller. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, 155 McGraw Avenue, Webster Springs, WV 26288 to assist with final expenses.
