He was predeceased by: his father Walter Payne; his wife Patty; his brother Jesse Payne; and his niece Krista Knight. He is survived by: his daughter Tracey Bolling of Diana; his grandchildren, Keeley Bolling and Nathius Barbe; his siblings, Margaret Knight (Dolan), Carl Payne (Jalene Williams) and Romie Payne (Patricia); his nieces, Rebecca Payne (Brad Dilley), Janie Payne and Shelley Walters; and his nephew Larry Knight.
