She was predeceased by: her parents, William Clyde and Hazel Taylor Smith of Virginia; and her siblings, Mary Jane Burkman, Carol Persinger, Judith Hamrick, Garland "Bud" Smith, William "Wink" Smith, Kathy Smith, Daryle Smith and Gerald Smith (late Charles Clevenger).
She is survived by: her children, Virginia Cunningham (John) of Texas, Sandy Ayers (Lee) of Cowen and Charlotte Skaggs (Michael) of Virginia; her sister Helen Bennett (Alfred) of Delray; her grandchildren, Matthew Riffle, Bianca Quinn (Damon) of Cowen, Christopher Miller of Fairmont, Kelci Skaggs of Virginia, Andrew Ayers (Bobbie) of Cowen and Candace Simmons (Zach) of Webster Springs; her great grandchildren, Madilyn, Liam, Luke, Kinley, Whitney, Zachary, Brody and Chase; and her pet Toby. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, extended family, friends.
