He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Gum and Gladys Cutlip Gum Cogar; and his brother Michael Gum. He is survived by: his daughters, Brittany Gum (Abbey Zorzi) and Briana Gum of Webster Springs; his siblings, Mark Gum (Carla Page) of Webster Springs, Lisa Clutter (Earl) of Webster Springs and Katrina Lunsford of Webster Springs; his former wife Jennifer Gum; his close friend Pugh of Webster Springs; his nieces and nephews, James, Chelsi Lunsford and Megann Hayes; and his stepfather Marvin Cogar.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dodd & Reed Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses.
