It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herman Steed of Webster Springs, West Virginia, born in Huntington, West Virginia, who passed away on July 31, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Willy and Vena Mullens Steed; his children, Martin A. Steed and Tammy Lynn Hosey; and his siblings, Doris Bruffy, Nadine Wright, Rita Stanley and Richard Steed.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Cogar Steed; and his children, Herman Ray Steed, Jr., Robert Cogar, Gwendolyn Ranna Knight and Pamela Steed Sblendorio. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and several other extended family and friends.
