She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Cogar and Leota Wilmoth Cogar; her husband Herman Ray Steed; her children, Martin Steed and Tammy Hosey; and her siblings, Maxine Mick, Charles, Allen, Stoney and Michael Cogar.
She is survived by: her son Robert Cogar (Meredith); her stepchildren, Gwendolyn Knight (Stanley Jr.), Herman Ray Steed, Jr. (Connie) and Pamela Sblendorio (Mike); her grandchildren, Richard, Nicholas, Mercedes, Sean, Chloe, Tristen, Hoyt, Dalton, Madison and Hunter; and her siblings, Everett Cogar (Sherry), Rocky Cogar (Mary), Rosalea Barnett (Ronnie), Gladie Holcomb (Donald), Brenda Alderman and Nettie Duffield (Marty). She is also survived by eight step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
