He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Moffit and Flora Nettie Wilfong Moffit; his wife Goldie Edna Skeens Moffit; his siblings, Paul, Dale, Lloyd Moffit, Norma Skeens, Mary Wright and Cora Moffit; and his stepsister Virginia Hamrick.
He is survived by: his children, Tom Moffit (Debbie) and Nancy Harding; his grandchildren, Dwayne Stucky, Melanie Thornton (Cory), Kristopher Moffit (Laurie) and Michael Moffit (Kelly); his great grandchildren, Breanna Wallace, Victoria Shawl, Marissa Gojkovich (John), Kyle Moffit (Melissa), Kody Moffit, Kory Moffit, Sophia Wyatt, Wylie Wyatt and Nick Kelly; and his great great grandchildren, Miley Moffit, Kayden, Rayonna Shawl and Kylan Wallace.
