It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Woodie Rice of Wayne, West Virginia, born in Huntington, West Virginia, who passed away on September 24, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Rice and Olive Rice; and his daughter Beverly Ann Rice. He is survived by: his wife Ida Watts Rice; his daughter Teresa Rice-Smith (Glenn) of Wayne; his granddaughter Summer Bandle; his great grandchild Carleigh Danielle Bandle of Palm Beach, Fla.; and his sisters, Juanita Farmer (David) of Knoxville, Tenn. and Violet Rice of Wayne.
