He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmon Walters and Shirley Walters; his son James Walters; and his siblings, Larry Walters, Ervin Walter, Flem Walters, Marvin Walters and Helen Collins.

He is survived by: his wife Martha May Walters; his son Danny Corioll (Freddie) of Wayne; and his brother Terry Walters of Wayne. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
