He was predeceased by: his sister Shelly Brooks; and his grandfathers, Denfert Nelson, Sr. and James Vernon Brooks. He is survived by: his son Parker Brooks of Wayne; his parents, Brenda Brooks of Columbia, Tenn. and Terry Brooks of Wayne; his grandmothers, Elsie Irene Freeman of Prichard, W. V and Freda Gaye Brooks of Wayne; and his close friends, Steven McFarland of East Lynn and Aaron Milum of Wayne.
