He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Maynard and Flora Maynard; and his brothers, Leslie Maynard and Ken Maynard. He is survived by: his wife Mildred Maynard; his children, Sally Brown of Fountain Valley, Suzanne Eliastam (Jeff), Stamen of Boston, Mass. and Claude "Cal" Maynard of Stockton, Cal.; his sisters, Pauline Wallace of Wayne and Gail Napier (Gary) of Ft. Gay, W. V; and his close friends, Howard and Christine Castle of Wayne. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
