Stella Mae Ferguson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stella Mae Ferguson of Wayne, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 28, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Russell and Stella Clark Russell; her husband James Arthur Ferguson; her daughter Stella Kathleen Ferguson; and her siblings, Virginia Price, Elsie Pratt, Ethel Wright, John, Audley, Norman, Fred Russell, Jake, Jennings and Jasper Clark.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wendy Maynard (Perry) of Wayne and Velvet Helmondollar (Brian) of Wayne; her grandchildren, Jimmy Evans and Kalinda Graham; her great grandchildren, Lauren Graham, James Evans, Landon Graham and Emma Evans; and her great great grandchild Carson Salem.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Morris Funeral Home Chapel (79 Bridge St, Wayne, WV 25570). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stella's memory to Hospice of Huntington or Wayne Baptist Church Women Sewers.
