It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Dotson of Wayne, West Virginia, born in Logan, West Virginia, who passed away on December 17, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Hughes and Lora Hughes; and her brother Richard. She is survived by: her husband George "Doone" Dotson; her children, Brian Dotson, Kimberly Dotson and Merri Carter; and her siblings, Leona Chafin, Linda Cates, Wanda Barboza, Marilyn Slone and Clifford "Skip" Hughes. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
