She was predeceased by: her parents, John Baptist Fry and Fannie Napier Fry; her husband Grant M. Hale; her son Michael Grant Hale; her great grandchild Kenyen Miller; her siblings, Fern Adkins, Bertha Lena Brown, Vicie Opal Merritt, Lula Mae Francis and Willis Lyle Fry; and her son-in-law Donald Jarrell.
She is survived by: her children, Denesa "Dee" Elaine Clark (James) of Wayne, WV, Lisa Marchelle "Missy" Jarrell of Ceredo, WV and Mark Jeffrey "Jeff" Hale (Felisha) of Wayne, WV; and her sisters, Orvella Adkins of Wayne, WV and Fannie Mae Roach of Litchfield, OH. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
