He was predeceased by: his parents, Andy Lee Stamper and Hazel Lee Ferguson Stamper; his siblings, Andy Ray Stamper, Joan Curnutte, Linda Finley and Teresa Stamper; and his nephew Brandon Stamper.

He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Jane Stamper "Abby".
