He is survived by: his children, Karla Nelson and Robert H. Nelson III of Suwanee, GA; his sisters, Rose Boyes and Roberta Adkins; his grandchildren, Sydney Plante (John), Robert H. Nelson IV, Conner M. Nelson and Reid W. Nelson; and his great grandchild June Plante.
