He was predeceased by: his mother Sylvia Hill; his stepfather Delbert Hill; and his aunt Ella Davis. He is survived by: his wife Lori Pruitt Elkins; his children, Ryan Elkins (Shelby) of Charlotte, N. C., Emily Elkins of Wayne, Alex Elkins of Wayne and Justin Webb of Wayne; his grandson Graham Elkins of Charlotte; and his cousin Yvonne Webb of Wayne.
