It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Lou Thompson of Wayne, West Virginia, who passed away on November 26, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John C. Simpkins and Mary Trout Simpkins; and her siblings, Sue Bartram and Keith Simpkins. She is survived by: her husband Dale Thompson; her children, Robin Riley (Ronnie) of Wayne, WV, Rebecca Pyles (Randy) of Wayne, WV, Larry Dale Thompson of Chesapeake, OH and Michael E. Thompson of Piedmont, SC; her grandchildren, Sara Berryman, Jason Damron and Michael Pyles; and her close friend Tawanna Sowards.
