He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Brooks and Betty Dyer Brooks; his wife Ruth Ann Stiltner Brooks; and his siblings, Ada Faye Cook (Paul), Anna Pearl Johnson (Robert), Milford Marie Epling, Earl Thomas McCoy (Carrie), Homer Glenn McCoy (Nancy) and Eugene Morgan Brooks.
He is survived by: his brother James Ray Brooks (late Martha Viola Brooks) of Genoa, WV. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and additional family and friends.
