With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Matthew Thompson of Wayne, West Virginia, born in Louisa, Kentucky, who passed away on April 16, 2021 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Thompson and Mary Thompson; his grandmother Norma Poe James; his aunts, Lucy Polly and Blanche Poe; his cousin Ricky Poe; his nephew Aaron Thompson; and his siblings, Benjamin Thompson, William Page Thompson, Danny Thompson, Desmond Thompson and Goldie Mae Ellis.
He is survived by: his siblings, Norma Mae Miller of Wayne and Jess Thompson of Ohio; his cousin Mary Poe (Rob) of Akron; and his nephews, Charles Dana Miller of Wayne and David Michael Miller of Wayne. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
