She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene "Gene" Alexander and Malta Dyer Alexander; her husband Jerry Blessit; and her sister Anna Alexander. She is survived by: her nephews, Alex Hackney of Clearwater, FL and John Blessit (Zachary Blessit) of Louisville, KY; and her niece Andrea "Andi" Whitt of Las Vegas, NV. She is also survived by many close friends and classmates.
