It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leta Bowen (Wayne, West Virginia), who passed away on October 21, 2019, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Porter and Edna Porter; and her siblings, Robert Porter and Olive Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Orville Bowen; her daughters, Betty Cox (Dwight) of Wayne, Edna Skeens, Anna Sanders (Jed) of Ona, W. V and Samantha Bowen of Huntington, W. V; her grandchildren, Kendra Skeens of Wayne, Timothy Allen Bowen, Jr. of Greensburg and Jazmyn Sanders of Ona; her siblings, Rosetta Faye Sparks of Ft. Gay, W. V, Shirley Thompson of Wayne, Geneva Watts (Jack) of Ft. Gay and John Porter (Gladys) of Genoa, W. V; and her close friend Kayla Bell of Barboursville, W. V. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
