He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Thomas and Lois Jean "Toots" Adkins; his niece Karri Adkins; and his significant other Debbie. He is survived by: his son Anthony Adkins of Wayne; his stepson Leo Adger of Toledo, Ohio; his siblings, Tammy Pelfrey, Timothy Adkins of Wayne, Leroy Adkins of Wayne and Paul Adkins of Wayne; and his nieces and nephews, Sam Runyon (Lauren) of Lavalette, W. Va, Shelton Adkins (Alyssa) of Huntington, Shara Bullard (Devin) of Wayne, Makayla Fetty of Wayne and Jaden Tabor (Jordan) of South Point.
