She is survived by: her husband Joe Boyd; her children, Lisa Coleman of Hodgenville and Nathan Carter (Jennifer); her father Charles Penix of Ashland; her siblings, Larry Penix (Diana), Terry Penix (Sandra), Barry Penix, Pam Shelton (Ricky) and E. J. Penix (Jennifer); and her grandchildren, Isaiah Scott, Payton Carter, Hailey Carter and Kynlee Carter.
