He was predeceased by: his father Earl Lee Adkins; his grandmother Ruby Gilkerson; and his brothers, Wetzel Lee Adkins and Darius Gene Adkins. He is survived by: his siblings, Sandra Kay Adkins of Huntington, Angie Dean (Ronnie) of Huntington, Karla Robinson of Wayne, Karen Adkins of Wayne, Alisha Adkins of Lavalette, WV, Kevin Adkins (Vickie) of Huntington, Allen Adkins (Sandra) of Dunlow, WV and Terry Adkins of Wayne. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
