He was predeceased by: his parents, Ty Bertias Black and Sylvia Chinn Black; and his siblings, Alannia Cooper, Mary Hodge and Aaron Black.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Black of Lavalette, WV; his children, Susan Rene Black of Huntington, WV, Ronda Davis (Ronnie) of Genoa, WV, Christy Moss (Jeff) of Crosby, TX and William D. Hedrick Black of Shelbytownship, MI; his grandchildren, Ronnie Lee Black of Lake Mary, FL, Lauren Bailey Wright of Huntington, WV, Jordan Reeves of Lavalette, WV, Courtney Ramey (Tyler) of Genoa, WV, Carman Ross of Houston, TX and Shea (Moss); his great grandchildren, Brooklyn Ramey, Marley Ramey and Jada Ramey of Genoa, WV.; his siblings, Hobert Black of Huntington, WV, Al Black of Proctorville, OH, Betty Smith of Huntington, WV and Sylvia Jean Maynard of Proctorville, OH; and his friends, Mark Watts, Larry Watts, Dar Holderby and Jimmy Brumfield.
