It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hurston Marcum of Wayne, West Virginia, born in Ethel, West Virginia, who passed away on August 4, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Acie Marcum and Annie Newsome Marcum; and his siblings, Earl, Ace Jr., John "Buck" Marcum, Gayle Marcum, Bessie Marcum and Pauline Spry.
He is survived by: his grandson Michael "Jared" Booth; his wife Sandra; his children, Lynn Booth (Paul Michael) of Wayne, Angie Stroud (Lonnie Pauley) of Wayne and Kevin Marcum of Logan, WV; his grandchildren, Kristin Dickerson (Jamie), Whitney Stroud and Cody Stroud; his great grandchildren, Braylon Gilliam, Lauryn Saunders, Kyson Stiltner, Arabella Booth and Oakley Dickerson; and his sisters, "Sissy" Moore of Lenore and Birdie Newsome of Dingess.
