He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Stapleton and Elva Stapleton; his sister Eloise Moore; and his nephew Bernard Stapleton. He is survived by: his wife Violet Stapleton; his children, Arlene Spence (William) of Wayne, Beulah Smith of Alabama, Mary Jones (Russell) of Georgia, Rose Adams (Junior) of Wayne and Daniel Stapleton of Wayne; and his sister Norma Burgess of Wayne. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
