He was predeceased by: his wife Loretta May Kimble Smith; his son Roger Keith Smith; his parents, Goble Smith and Verna Smith; and his brothers, Clifford Douglas Smith and Thomas Clinton Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Macri (Greg), Brenda Sue Adkins (Keith), Glenda Ann Hazel (Tim), Teresa Spear, Claretta Denise Maynard (David), Jeffrey Smith (Jennifer) and Robert Glen Smith; and his siblings, Doug Smith, Jacqueline and Vera Jean. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
