He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Nelson and Georgia Asbury Nelson; his brother Benjamin Nelson, Jr.; and his nephew Mark Allen France. He is survived by: his siblings, Joyce France (Adam Lawhorn) of Catlettsburg, KY, James Nelson of Wayne and Jerry Nelson of Wayne; and his nephews, Charles France (Hattie) of Barboursville, WV and Kenneth Followay of Wayne.
