It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Ward of Wayne, West Virginia, who passed away on April 14, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Petry and Pearl Petry; her brothers, Bill and Bob Petry; her son Michael Ward; and her granddaughter Amanda Brownlee.
She is survived by: her husband Homer Ward; her children, Christina Carpenter (Sam) of South Point, Peggy Carpenter (Joe) of Coolville and Roy Ward (Dee) of Wayne; and her sister Phyllis Henry of Lesage. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
