She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Adkins and Lona Adkins; her husband Dwight Messinger; and her siblings, Sheila Maynard, Benny Adkins and Mason Adkins.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Messinger of Sarasota, Rodney Messinger (Grace), Mike Messinger (Vickie) of Huntington, David Messinger of Elkins and W. Va; and her sister Margaret Saunders. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; as well as family and friends.
