She was predeceased by: her parents, App Vance and Hildred Elliott Vance; her daughter Patty Stapleton; and her grandchildren, William App Caldwell, Meshell Coleman and Roy Adam Caldwell.
She is survived by: her children, Roy Caldwell (Rebecca) of Wayne, WV, Debbie Moore (Darrell) of South Point, OH and Mary Damron (Ralph) of Wayne, WV; her children-in-law, Cheryl Caldwell and Rick Stapleton; and her grandchildren, Jacob Damron (Cassady), Steven Cyrus (Rebecca), Stacy Bowens (Chris), Patrick Harvey (Jenny), Joseph Harvey (Tammy), Obie Caldwell and William Caldwell (Kandace). She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
