She was predeceased by: her parents, Hezekiah Watts and Naoma Josephine Adkins; her husband James Lucian Epling; her siblings, Charlie Watts, Elmer Watts, Cumberland Watts, Henry Watts, Johnnie Watts, Cain Dingess, Jr., Dorothy Napier, Alberta Adkins, Mary Napier and Bessie Watts; and her great great grandchild Gunner Arnold.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Morris Funeral Home Chapel (79 Bridge St, Wayne, WV 25570). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
