He was predeceased by: his parents, Iris Glenn and Ruby Mae Adkins Davis; his wife Connie Davis; and his brothers, Randall Davis, Jimmy Davis and Tommy Davis.

He is survived by: his daughter Gretchen Sankovich (Mike) of Murrells Inlet, SC; his siblings, Gail Davis Spears of Huntington, WV, Kenneth Davis of Catlettsburg, KY and Michael Davis of Wayne, WV; and his grandsons, Brandon Burkholder, Derek Burkholder and Josh Sankovich. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
