It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Belle Scott of Wayne, West Virginia, born in Louisa, Kentucky, who passed away on January 14, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Foley Wesley Thompson and Wyelda Gaynelle Riggs Thompson; her former husband Harold William Smith; her husband William Lee Scott; her son Harold Anthony Smith; and her sisters, Janice Sue Thompson and Rita Joyce Fraley.
She is survived by: her siblings, Cynthia Sanders (Darrell) of East Lynn, WV, Patty Barton of Genoa, WV, Linda Starkey of Genoa, WV, Steve Thompson (Sue Sias) of Genoa, WV and Douglas Thompson (Amanda) of Genoa, WV. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
