He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Tomblin and Juanita Lucas Tomblin; his daughter Rebecca Tomblin; his grandson Michael Dean; his siblings, Judy Pinson, Geynel LeGrand, Rick and Gale Tomblin; and his son-in-law Mark Spurlock.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Ferrell Tomblin; his children, Pamela Hyatt of Rockport, Lisa Loos (Richard) of Rockport, Debra Spurlock of Genoa, WV, Bernard Tomblin, Jr. of East Lynn, WV and Vernon Tomblin of Rockport, Texas; and his sisters, Phyllis Gouge (Dale) of Chesapeake, Ohio and Elaine Ellis (Gary) of Chesapeake, Ohio. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to assist with final expenses.
