He is survived by: his wife Virginia Thompson Thornhill of Wayne; his children, Angela Maynard (James) of Lawrence Co, Charlotte Marcum of Fort Gay, WV, Carolyn Ross of Fort Gay, WV, Benjamin Ray Thornhill of Genoa, WV and Bob Alan Thornhill of Lincoln Co; his stepchildren, Freda Thompson (Cliffton) of Wayne, WV, Loma Jarrell of Dunlow, WV and Clifford Jarrell of Wayne, WV; and his siblings, Carla Parsley of Genoa, Wealtha Mae Ogier (Lewis) of Lavalette, WV, Virginia Thornhill of Wayne, Della Williams of Louisa, KY, Maggie Thornhill of East Lynn, WV, Deliah Jane Thornhill of Huntington, WV, George Thornhill (Christine) of Fort Gay, John Thornhill (Dee Dee) of Fort Gay and Lot Thornhill (Frankie) of Fort Gay.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Dan Wallace Cemetery.
