He was predeceased by: his mother Muriel; his wife Yvonne Talbert; his siblings, Austin, Thomas, Donald Talbert, Stella Ratcliff, Laura Mae Stephens and Carolyn Knight; and his grandson Joshua Arthur Bowen.
He is survived by: his children, June Bowen (Dave) of Northfield, Jeff Talbert (Lucy) of Wayne and Allen Talbert of Wayne; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Rachel, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Shawn, Shara, Julia and Ashley. He is also survived by several great grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, family and friends.
