We are sad to announce that on September 30, 2024, at the age of 81, Alpha Perry of Wayne, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Garfield Perry and Myrtle Billups Perry; and his siblings, Delbert Napier, Glen Perry, Barnard Perry, Eugene Napier, Kenny Perry, Ethel Collins and Garnett Maynard.
He is survived by: his wife Deloris Prater Perry; his children, Shirley Ferguson (Roger) and Steve Perry (Mindy) of Wayne; his grandchildren, Steven "Bub" Perry (Anna), Nicholas "Nickle" Perry (Kiara), Tyler Perry (Hannah), Tasha Perry (Jayden), Sophia Perry, Lindsey James (Ethan), Cassidy James, Elizabeth Blankenship (Hunter), Emily Marshall (Nathan), Whitney Doss (Mark), Racheal Perry (T. J.) and Bella Ferguson; his great grandchildren, Preslee Perry, Tinley, Adlee, Charlee Perry, Meschiya Johnson, Aiden, Levi Marshall and Mallory Doss; and his siblings, Rosa Watts of Proctorville, Bonnie Plybon (Ronnie) of Huntington, W. Va and William "Bill" Perry of Wayne. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Johnson Tiller Funeral Home (10030 WV-152, Wayne, WV 25570). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
