He was predeceased by: his wife Connie Ayers; his parents, Vernon Ayers and Hazel Ayers; and his brothers, Francis Ayers and Mike Ayers.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kim McClain (Chris), Shawn Davis (Ken) and Sharon Jackson (John); and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Randolph, Bobby Randolph, Darwin Brown Jr., Alexis Jackson and Caitlin Jackson. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; 1 brother; and 1 sister.
The family requests that any memorials be made as a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project.
