With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Mark Pate of Waverly, West Virginia, born in Marietta, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 12, 2024 at the age of 72. Though John Mark may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John Mark touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mansford Pate and Mary Pate. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Pate; his sons, Brandon Pate and Johnny Pate; and his grandchildren, Emma Rutter, McKinzie Pate and Bentley Ryan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
